Worst blogger ever!

Okay I'm so sorry.. .worst blogger EVER right here! I cannot believe we haven't put pictures up of the boys or even updated family since JUNE. Shame on me!

The boys are growing up so fast and we're having so much fun with them! Max is 2 1/2 now and he's such a blast. He's in school 3 days a week so he's learning different languages, making new friends, learning to share, learning letters and all kinds of fun things. He loves to ride his tricycle, build and knock down things and play catch in the backyard, and he's got quite the arm! We're excited about getting him in Soccer this spring as well as swim lessons and who knows what else.

Luke just turned 9 months and he may be the happiest baby on planet Earth! He is always smiling and happy... unless you aren't holding him. Then he lets you know he's ready for you to pick him back up. Ha! Although he LOVES to stand and jump, he has about as much interest in crawling as eating an onion. We may have a poky one on our hands.
They are such blessings and our lives are so enriched everyday by them. What a joy to be a parent! (Even on the days you're pulling your hair out, it's still pretty awesome.)

Luke Anderson Odegard

Well...I guess we've been pretty busy... too busy to post any pictures of our new son, Luke! He is just starting to sleep some at night so this was a great opportunity to post some pictures of him. Luke is such a sweetheart and cuddlebug. He's a much different baby than Max was as he's had a pretty rough tummy from day one. He's slowly getting better and he is growing up so fast already. Max is being a great big brother. He had some adjustment issues the first couple of weeks but now he loves his baby brother! He wishes him 'good morning baby bruder' every morning, he kisses him and rocks him and he wants to hold him a lot. Couldn't wish for a better outcome! Damon and I are excited about the two of our boys being buddies. We're all doing well and we're loving our family of four (plus boca)!

December 2009

Man how time flies! Max is growing up so fast - it is amazing. In the past 3 months he has mastered walking (for the most part), learned to run, he's finally using a big boy cup instead of a bottle, he's discovered that books are awesome, he loves cars and trucks, he thinks running around naked is hysterical, he loves to laugh really hard, he has 4 more teeth coming in which makes it around 16, he's talking like crazy, he LOVES his cousins and particularly loves Abby (he says her name several times a day and smiles) and he is just absorbing and learning so much everyday. Damon and I learn something new each day too from him and we're having the best time!

Max has a sister or brother on the way that will arrive early May. We are hoping this won't totally demolish his world and that he will adore his new sibling! I'm sure there will be some rough patches but we can't wait for him to have a sister or brother!

Max's first haircut!

I finally gave in ... Max had his first haircut this week. He had a few suckers so that helped get through the cut.
He's growing so fast and walking and talking like crazy... This week, Max has discovered that throwing things in the toilet is so much fun! Last night while cooking dinner, he surried out of the kitchen and then things went WAY too quiet. I found him in the bathroom smiling ear to ear and he'd put his entire blanket in the toilet. We obviously need some locks and I'm on the lookout this weekend.

14 Months

It is so hard to blog these days! Max is 14 months now and walking everywhere! He is such a joy and we are having the best time in this phase of kidhood/parenthood. Today we took him to the Aquarium for the first time. I think he saw "fish" a couple of times but he had more fun climbing on the benches, walking around and looking at other kids... He liked the stingray and shark area where you could touch them the best. Here are a few pics from our outing!

A year old!

Max turned a year old August 2nd! We can't believe he's already a toddler and he's growing so fast! He loved his bday cake, which kept him up with a belly ache most of the night.

Happy Crawler!

Little guy is all over the place! At 10 1/2 months, Max is all about crawling as fast as he can, pulling up on everything and he loves crawling under things (i.e. chairs, boxes, the bed). I swear this is what makes him so happy - finally being able to move around! Here are some pics of our happy lil' nugget.
